Designed with corporate groups in mind, the property features self-contained chalets for added privacy alongside spacious communal areas. Inside the main house, you'll find a large living area, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, a spacious dining room, and a charming conservatory with picturesque garden views.

The two-acre gardens provide ample space for outdoor activities and relaxation, complete with a year-round hot tub for unwinding after productive sessions. Rest assured, the carp pond is securely fenced for the safety of attendees.

Each chalet and cabin bedroom boasts modern amenities and ensuite bathrooms, ensuring comfort and convenience throughout your corporate retreat. Essex Country Retreat offers the perfect blend of tranquility and functionality for your next corporate event.

Essex Country Retreat offers 14 guest bedrooms across the house, cabins and chalets. All our cabins and chalets are ensuite with most offering scenic garden views. Travel cots available upon request.

Main House – 6 Bedrooms:

Meeting Space

There is no separate meeting space, however in the main house there is a long table that can sit 20+ team members.

Logistics:

1hr 20 mins from Liverpool Street train station to Southminster train station, then short transfer of 15 mins.

Catering + Activities:

We've partnered with My Event Concierge to offer full stay catering and team building activities.

Full Stay Catering for a 2 night stay:

Day 1: Feast in the fridge
Day 2: Breakfast
Day 2: Lunch Buffet
Day 2: Dinner
Day 3: Continental Breakfast before departure.
