Jurassic Retreat is a collection of stylish cottages and barn conversions in a quiet rural setting in East Devon, designed for groups looking to combine productive working time with space to relax and recharge. Set in an unspoilt valley in the heart of East Devon’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it provides an inspiring backdrop for team retreats, strategy sessions, and creative planning away from the office.

The venue works especially well for smaller teams who want exclusive use of a characterful setting with accommodation onsite and access to outdoor space. Its close proximity to the Jurassic Coast also makes it an appealing choice for teams who want to add coastal walks or downtime into their stay.

The Winery sleeps 20 in 10 ensuite bedrooms.

All bedrooms can be arranged as king size or twin, and the full exclusive-use setup gives teams a flexible and private stay.

Meeting and Dining Space

The Winery provides the main communal space and can comfortably dine up to 34 guests indoors or outdoors. It also includes a large open-plan sitting room with seating for up to 34, a private bar, and a second sitting room that can be used as a TV room or breakout space. Outside, there are two terraces, including upper and lower terrace areas suitable for relaxed team time or outdoor dining.

Facilities and Extras

Jurassic Retreat includes a heated outdoor pool in season, a games room available year-round, and plenty of outdoor space across the 52-acre valley. Exclusive use also means the pool is available for group bookings, and the venue can support on-site catering for team meals and events.

Jurassic Retreat is in East Devon, just 4 miles from the Jurassic Coast at Beer, around 20 minutes from Lyme Regis and Charmouth, and within easy reach of Honiton, Sidmouth, and Exeter.
