Peak Grange combines countryside tranquillity with practical, flexible facilities. The venue is made up of converted farmhouses and barns arranged around a courtyard, with original character features including preserved cruck beams, exposed stone walls, and traditional farmhouse interiors.

The venue works particularly well for teams looking for an exclusive-use setting where colleagues can stay, meet, dine, and unwind together. Its location in the Peak District also makes it easy to build walking, cycling, or outdoor activities into an offsite programme.

Accommodation

Peak Grange sleeps up to 45 guests across 6 individual cottages and 22 bedrooms, with 19 bathrooms, many of which are ensuite. Most bedrooms can be configured as either doubles or twins, offering flexibility for different team arrangements.

- Applegarth: 3 bedrooms, sleeps 6.

The Grange is a detached 200-year-old farmhouse with seven ensuite bedrooms, a large lounge, a dining room seating 14, and a private cellar games room with a pool table and dartboard. Cruck’d Barn features a large open-plan living and dining space with original 400-year-old cruck beams, while Amberleigh House, Applegarth, Bat’s Belfry, and The Pigsty offer additional flexible accommodation options.

Meeting and Event Space

The Sheep Shed is a spacious multifunctional barn measuring 9.27m by 7.67m, ideal for workshops, presentations, creative sessions, and informal team gatherings for up to 45 guests. It includes a large wall-mounted TV, tables and chairs that can be arranged to suit the group, heating, Wi-Fi, and a basic kitchenette stocked for 45 guests.

The venue also offers several communal and private social spaces. Cruck’d Barn provides a large open-plan area for informal gatherings and can be arranged for dining between 16 and 36 guests with pre-booked table leaves, while The Grange offers a separate dining room and private games room.

Dining and Facilities

Each cottage has its own fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and comfortable living space, making Peak Grange well suited to self-catered stays. For larger groups, catering can be arranged through recommended local suppliers, or teams can use the cottage kitchens and The Sheep Shed’s kitchenette.

Location

Peak Grange is located near Hurdlow, close to Buxton in the Peak District National Park. The Tissington and High Peak Trails are within walking distance, offering excellent walking and cycling routes directly from the venue. The award-winning Royal Oak pub is less than a mile away, while Buxton is around a 10 minute drive and Bakewell, Chatsworth House, and Haddon Hall are also within easy reach.
